Since the buildings allowed to lie fallow in Croton are not contributing revenue in the form of commercial property taxes as well as sales taxes it only makes sense to “incentivize” those owners to bring those properties up their full, income producing potential.

I concur, with the first commentator. Steve Poltkin has been running around Croton bragging about his weekend ski trips to Stratton Mountain resort in Vermont. He even offered to me used ski equipment for sale, telling me he was getting into the ski re sale business. All I can say is good luck to you Steve because you just may be breaking Rocks in Vermont for many moons!

This commenter couldn’t sound like a bigger raving lunatic. He’s allowed to manage the marina, because with the exception of you, everyone loves him, and nothing has ever been stolen. It was absolutely proved that he never stole a credit card, and I wouldn’t believe for a moment that he would steal anything, especially skis.
You should absolutely call Steve and tell him your opinions like a grown-up, rather than proving that you have a serious grudge against him and his family. Your little story is horribly libelous. No one at the marina has ever been burglarized, and he definitely has no pattern of doing anything but a great job.
If you don’t have it in you to call Steve himself, let me know if you want an email address for the board.

Steven Plotkin has had prior arrests for Theft. How he is allowed to still manage The Half Moon Bay Marina, should be re evaluated by the Board at Half Moon Bay. Anyone who knows Steve at the Marina, knows you can’t believe a word he says. The place is terribly mismanaged by him. The Gazebo and Bar B Q area is a mess, the area by the Marina Office, looks like a Junk Yard. the Entrance to the dock have 2 sheds, Electrical and Parts, that need to be Re-sided. He walks back and forth all day, with a phone glued to his ear. His pattern is stealing skiis, credit cards etc. that are left unattended. Most Boaters here, have a story of their boats been burglarized. We now have packages left unattended, at Half Moon Bay by FedEx etc. that are been stolen. I hope the Police are connecting the dots. Steve is a real menace to our Community.

This doesn’t only apply to youths. Just look at the myriad examples of stalking and harassment from the pages of the North County News blog directed at a local young Dem over the years. There’s your evidence for hate crime prosecution, “MJ”.
