Citizens Against Bowhunting Calls a Spade a Spade

Local political action committee Citizens Against Bowhunting has followed proper procedure and filed with the NYS Board of Elections.  Although still in arrears by not providing financial disclosure data in a timely manner, the CAB has begun coming clean as to the actual agenda of the group.  If you believe that resolution of the “single issue” the CAB claims to champion is best achieved by influencing elections, by all means give them your hard-earned cash.

So glad the committee stepped up and confirmed the intent of the organization to influence the recent election. Fortunately the voters saw through their charade and voted overhelmingly for Wiegman, Murtaugh and Raskob.

Now I sincerely hope that same committee will do what they promised and come forth with a viable and affordable way to cull the herd.

CAB has been deemed irrelevant by the election results and a total failure as a Political Action Committee. The very people they were trying to swoon away from Mayor Wiegman came out in force to support him in spite of Plotch and Allen’s best efforts to destroy his re-election chances.

The only group left more irrelevant by the 2011 election results than Citizen’s Against Bowhunting is the Croton GOP.

The smart and well informed electorate has spoken and are overwhelmingly in favor of the Wiegman agenda. We can only hope that Konig, Schmidt, Cudequest, Moran, Aarons, Plotch, Schuyler, and Wintermeier finally get the message and just fade away.
