A Note From Former Trustee Georgianna Grant

To the Editor

It’s with respect that I ask the editor of “Everything Croton”  if – and if so –  why,  I am not permitted to post my thoughts and concerns on this blog “of all things Croton — our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools – in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.”

I am a long-time resident of Croton (60 + years to be exact).  I love this village.  I’ve raised 8 wonderful children here who loved and learned in the Croton schools. All have grown into good, kind and successful adults.  I  have long been a participant in causes and activities contributing to efforts for our growth and improvement.  I have agreed and disagreed with many previous Mayors, elected representatives and volunteers.  I’ve lost some battles and won some but,  win, lose or draw, I have always remained loyal to Croton and take pride in many successes over the years.
In spite of my long history it appears that the Editor of EVERYTHING CROTON  chooses not to entertain or share any of my thoughts or concerns with her readers.  Only “news” consistent with her personal opinion is shared with her readership.    Oh yes, and she has a sidekick  named “Anonymous” who consistently agrees and applauds her “wisdom”.  It surely makes one wonder who “Anonymous” might be.
Thanks for permitting all of us to express our opinions whether you agree or disagree with them.
