More Arts Events in late October and Early November:



November 8 and 9:

at Symphony Knoll, 15 Mount Airy Road (just north of Grand Street – 1st left when starting up Mt. Airy from the Upper Village), Croton

The Croton Council on the Arts presents:

CCoA’s First exhibition and celebration of Artisans’ Expressive Work taking inspiration from land, city, water, sky, or the mind.  Work in a variety of media will be displayed.  The colorful and story-telling small box lid (shown left) was made by Yoshimi Arai, who works in paper and lacquer — and who is coordinating this exhibition.
Exhibition times:

Saturday, November 8th – 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Public reception – 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.)
Sunday, November 9th – 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

At the Paramount Gallery in Peekskill:

>> At the opening reception (Nov. 8, 3-6 pm), Marcy B. Freedman will present “Wish List for the Missing Girles of Nigeria”, an interactive performance.

Work by Croton artist Liz Surbeck Biddle is in a group show at the Williamsburg Art & Historical Center, 135 Broadway, in Williamsburg (Brooklyn).
