Work Session of the Village Board

7: 30 p.m.

(Open to Public  –  Not Televised)

  1. Request by Village Manager to enter into an executive session to discuss real property.  If the request is granted, an executive session will be held.

  1. Discussion with Ken Pojman of Gisolfi Associates regarding the existing masonry and roofing conditions at the Municipal Building and proposed restoration.  Gisolfi Associates has submitted a proposal for preparation of construction documents, bidding and administration of the proposal for the roofing and masonry work.  The project is estimated to take 5 to 6 months and ideally would begin in the Spring.  The total proposal is $85,000.  The need for the roofing work and masonry repair was identified in a 2013 survey report on the status of the Municipal Building. It is separate from the issue of  space utilization in the Municipal Building.

  1. Proposed site feasibility study regarding potential new site for a new Municipal Building.  As a result of identified space constraints at the Municipal Building, especially regarding the Police function, and the potential costs of renovating the Municipal Building to satisfy the requirements, the Board has asked for a study of the feasibility of alternative locations for a possible new municipal building. The proposed work by Gisolfi Associates would cost $29,000.

  1. Request by Village Manager to enter into an executive session to discuss a personnel issue regarding a specific individual. If the request is granted, an executive session will be held.
