Botanical Beauty with Liz Migliorelli of Sister Spinster Apothecary

Have you wanted to learn how to make your own natural beauty products? Come get glamorous and learn about personal care in a holistic way! We will cover plants that support the skin from the inside-out, the lost art of bathing, as well as how to make plant-based products that are perfect for personal glamor and gift-giving! You will leave with an amazing supply of goods that include: cleansing grains, a salt scrub, a facial toner, moisturizing cream, lip balm and new everyday self-care rituals! Refreshments and light snacks will be provided for your enjoyment.

Liz Migliorelli is a western clinical herbalist and magic maker who believes in affordable, accessible, community-based health care and the healing power of plants. She believes in the healing that comes from gardens, the local land and cozy kitchens. She came to the herbal path through her own healing crisis as well as a frustration with the loss of ancestral wisdom and privatization of health care in the United States. Liz is devoted to encouraging others to find empowerment through self-care and harm reduction, to find healing in a cup of fir tip and strawberry leaf tea, and to find magic in the simple practices that connect us to the Earth. She lives and works in Oakland, CA.

Friday, December 19th. 6:30-9 pm. $60. Limited Space Available. To register please visit Kenotin Gift Shop, 139 Grand Ave in Croton on Hudson, NY or email liz@sisterspinster.net.
