Register Now for the 2015 Hudson River Summit

March 18, 2015

The Hudson River Summit, co-sponsored by the Estuary Program and Historic Hudson River Townswww.hudsonriver.com, will take place Thursday, April 16, 9 am to 3:30 pm at the Poughkeepsie Grandview, overlooking the Hudson. We hope you’ll join us!

We’ll be discussing the importance of partnerships throughout the conference. Presentations and panel discussions will focus on river access for everyone; resilient communities; and a restoration plan to improve water-quality and habitat in the Hudson River estuary. We’ll also present the State of the Hudson 2015 and showcase success stories of habitat restoration, rebounding fish populations, land conservation, and students studying and using the river. You’ll also get a chance to see glass eels, the bold and beautiful pumpkinseed (a sunfish), and an unwelcome, new arrival, the weatherfish.

We’re happy to announce that we’ll be joined by DEC Commissioner Joe Martens and many of our partners, including Scenic Hudson, The Nature Conservancy, Hudson River Watershed Alliance, Cary Institute for Ecosystem Studies, Hudson River Foundation, New York-New Jersey Harbor & Estuary Program, and many others. More program details will be available soon.

Registration for the conference is $35 and we are now offering a student discount fee of $20. To register, please visit  Historic Hudson River Towns. The registration deadline is April 2, 2015– more than 130 people have already signed up. We encourage you to register early—our events often sell-out. See you on the river!
