THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN UPTON HAS ISSUED A FREEZE
WARNING…WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 2 AM TO 9 AM EDT FRIDAY.

* LOCATIONS…INTERIOR SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT…THE LOWER HUDSON
VALLEY…AND PORTIONS OF NORTHEAST NEW JERSEY.

* HAZARDS…SUB-FREEZING TEMPERATURES.

* TEMPERATURES…AROUND 30.

* TIMING…LATE TONIGHT THROUGH EARLY FRIDAY MORNING.

* IMPACTS…CROPS AND SENSITIVE PLANTS COULD BE KILLED.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A FREEZE WARNING MEANS BELOW FREEZING TEMPERATURES ARE IMMINENT
OR HIGHLY LIKELY. THESE CONDITIONS WILL KILL CROPS AND OTHER
SENSITIVE VEGETATION.
