TEEN MEDITATION offered by Crossover Yoga Project

Tuesdays, 715-815pm at the Organic Teaching Kitchen in Croton on Hudson
There is a growing body of evidence supporting the benefits of meditation or mindfulness, which teaches one how to pay attention to the present moment, and learn how to regulate our thoughts in a special way to help stop automatic reactions and increase skillful, caring responses. A mindful practice could be beneficial to teens, helping them cultivate empathy, as well as skills for concentration and impulse control and /or help teens navigate the challenges of adolescence.
