“Peekskill to Paris” Climate Rally Tomorrow!

November 27, 2015

Join your friends and neighbors for a music- and fun-filled rally for all ages, tomorrow, Saturday, November 28th, at Peekskill Riverfront Park, Peekskill, NY from 1:00 to 3:00 pm! (Schedule of events below.)

In support of the United Nation’s Climate Change Conference kicking off in Paris on November 30th, the event has been organized by Lisa Moir, owner of Croton’s legendary Blue Pig Ice Cream, with support from a broad coalition of local citizens and leading environmental groups.

Demonstrate your support in a tangible way as leaders from 147 nations from around the globe gather to negotiate and finalize a critical new international agreement on climate change.

The beautiful Riverfront Park is right at the Metro North Peekskill train station, overlooks the Hudson River and includes an excellent playground, handicapped accessible bathroom facilities and walkways, free parking and is in close proximity to some of Peekskill’s most vibrant businesses and eateries, and the new Lincoln Museum.
