Saw Mill River Audubon BirdersU: Spring Birding By Ear

March 23, 2016

March 25, 2016 @ 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm Croton Point Park Nature Center

Tune up your birding ears for the spring! This is a new series of seasonal Birding by Ear workshops that we will offer to review the overall concepts and resources for identifying birds by sound and then focus on the common & notable bird sounds of the coming season. For spring, we’ll consider spring vocalizations of year-round residents, changing vocalizations of over-wintering birds, and the sounds of the most abundant spring migrants soon to be passing through the Hudson Valley. Workshop cost: $20/nonmember, $15/member of any Audubon group, payable at the door. Includes field trip the following morning to practice birding by ear. Registration required by calling 914-666-6503 or emailing office@sawmillriveraudubon.org. Space limited.
