To the Editor:

I was pleasantly surprised to learn that it may be possible for Croton to join the Community Choice Aggregation electricity program this year rather than waiting until 2018.  I was unfortunately not surprised to discover that the Mayor and Croton United board majority are evidently unwilling to take any steps towards making that happen.

Getting Croton into the CCA program and giving us the opportunity to save money while getting our electricity supply from 100% renewable sources will require a modicum of vision and effort from our leaders. Sadly, however, the only thing that appears to be sustainable is the CU majority’s excuses and intransigence.

I see your house is for sale, Andy. Are you moving to a place where CCA is in place? If not, why must Croton implement something that you aren’t participating in?
