To the Editor:
It’s been over one year since the last monthly Village newsletter. Mayor Schmidt and his board majority declared the village news letter too expensive to produce, so it was abruptly cancelled with the promise of a “quarterly” replacement.
Since then village communications have been a cobbled together mess. A series of Freedom of Information requests has revealed that the village has no idea how much the promised-but-not-delivered “quarterly” is actually costing or how many staff hours it is taking to produce.
Is this what Croton United means by “doing what’s best for village residents?”  Where is the transparency and communication that we were promised?

MS – All you do is complain. Never a positive post from you.

I for one am happy to read online — less stuff in the mailbox and cheaper: Less spending. Do you understand that MS?
